Kate Bell is a New York based actor, singer, and dancer. Learning to dance at an early age, Kate has always loved the intersection between storytelling and movement. Recently, she graduated from Marymount Manhattan College with a BFA in acting. She especially loved studying the craft of comedy, dialects, and Chekov.
Kate currently works with Abingdon Theatre Company as artistic associate. They are committed to producing new works Off-Broadway by emerging and established artists.
In the past, Kate worked with Vivacity Media Group as a press intern, where she worked on Broadway and Off-Broadway shows including Jagged Little Pill and Little Shop of Horrors. Kate has also worked with Thistle Dance Incorporation, founded by choreographer, Kristen-Brooks Sandler, taking on various roles such as pre-production development, working on film shoots, social media marketing, and copy-writing.
In her free time, you’ll find Kate knitting funky sweaters, waiting for the next Sally Rooney or Elena Ferrante book to drop, and watching Gilmore Girls with her family. She is proficient in both Italian and American Sign Language, and is always looking for more ways to challenge herself.
Kate enjoys collaborating with other actors and creatives--send her an email if you want to work together!
